Clowns, Boats, and Singing Fairies -- Oh My!

  

What's up with this Blog?

Over the past year I've had the opportunity to grab lunch at noon.  Every day I walk straight through the Frank Ogawa Plaza in Oakland.  I'm amazed at how active this little patch of grass sitting in front of city hall seems to be.  San Francisco may be able to boast its fair share of local personality nuts and unusual gatherings, but it has nothing on Oakland!  This blog has been created to pay homage to those events, people, and props that go into transforming what otherwise would be a seemingly boring lawn.
